Charles Lindsay

Charles Lindsay is an award-winning conceptual artist-adventurer whose work synthesizes ideas about time, technology, eco-systems and semiotics. GALLERY 1/1 is pleased to have available a selection of original silver gelatin prints made by Charlie from his unique hand-drawn carbon emulsion negatives. This cameraless hybrid process synthesizing photography and drawing was invented by Charlie and is the genesis for his series CARBON for which Lindsay received a Guggenheim Fellowship (2010) and the CARBON monograph was published by Minor Matters Books (2016) with forwards by Lyle Rexer and Dr. Jill Tarter.
